The Johannesburg Marimba Club is a community-based music club hosted at Dainfern College. It is led by our esteemed and experienced marimba coach, Mark Pettitt. The club offers weekly sessions for children aged 10–18 and adults who are eager to learn, perform, and enjoy music together.

Our goal is to create a fun, beginner-friendly environment where members can develop their musical skills, play in ensembles, and participate in end-of-term showcases and local festivals.

Weekly sessions generally take place on Saturday mornings or late afternoons on weekdays. Please note that we will find the best time for you when you sign up!

Each member will become part of a band who will learn songs together and will be able to showcase their music they have learnt in their sessions.
